Странные вещи

происходят последнее время.

1. Знакомство с первой женой моего второго мужа.
2. Добрый джентльмен вручил мне лондонский проездной на целый день.
3. Другой странный джентльмен, патрулирующий припаркованные машины, обратился ко мне с вопросом, русская я или полячка. Сказал, что могу сойти за ирландку по цвету волос, но English - no chance.
4. Возвращаясь с балета, в поезде подцепила The Evening Standard, где прочитала ревью на этот балет.
5. Прочитала свой последний недописанный рассказ без отвращения и поняла, что могу его дописать.

Кажется, все неплохо?

I understand the message as positive and humanitarian. The more I like is "It will ...determine whether or not you are worthy of human review". "IT" in that article is the software. Has the Era of Artificial Intelligence come?

Ten Pieces of Shit not to say

Sometimes I feel puzzled if not confused when I happen to read a piece of advise like this. Actually 10 pieces of this. I know we - people - speak and behave inappropriate occasionally, I assume that even a desperate job hunter in a healthy state of mind might blurt out smth about uniform or bloody previous employer or whatever these 10 pieces of wisdom warn about. Annoy about, I'd rather say. Why? Well...
1. Wouldn't it be far more better provide job hunters - the audience the author is addressing to - with at least 5 but pragmatic things to say in a job interview?
2. And get and succeed in an interview just like one of the job hunter plankton creatures using these 5 statements and more powerful spells from his brilliant experience in recruiting business?
Neither (1) nor (2) is matter. The thing that matters is the job market. It is "more competitive than ever" and... so what... surrounded by the bloody stupid competitors? I say...
